Pilgrimage To Richmond
I've finally done all I need to do to make the trip out to see Elliott's first solo concert at the Virginia State Fair on 8-Oct-2006. This is what I've done ...
- Bought a ticket for the Elliott Concert
- Reserved a room at the Holiday Inn North in Richmond, VA
- Bought a ticket for the JDRF Fundraiser dinner at the Holiday Inn
- Scheduled a business trip to coincide with the events there so airline tickets are done.
- Told my wife. She actually thought that this was funny. She's going on her own pilgramage to Belton, Texas in November.
- Entered the JDRF walk-a-thon. If you'd like to sponsor me let me know via email. You can donate as little as $1.00. It's a 3 mile walk.
So why am I doing all this? I guess it boils down to the fact that I'm a fan of da man. Would I do this for anyone else. I wouldn't even do this to go see the President.
It must be ... fan-aticism.
